How CampFind makes money: the honest breakdown
CampFind used to charge owners a flat subscription and no commission. On 8 October 2026 that changed. Here is exactly what CampFind charges now, so you can judge for yourself whether it adds up.
What is free
Listing your campsite, claiming it, adding your own photos and prices, setting availability and receiving camper enquiries are all free. There is no subscription and no free trial, because there is nothing to trial.
What CampFind charges
When a camper books and pays by card through CampFind, CampFind keeps 8% of that booking (your price and any extras) from your payout. Bookings you take on your own website, by phone or by enquiry cost nothing.
The camper pays your price and nothing on top. There is no CampFind booking fee.
Owners who joined earlier
Listings verified on or before 8 October 2026 keep 0% commission. Parks whose claim is verified on or before 31 March 2027 pay no commission on their first 10 paid bookings. If you still hold a subscription from before the change, you no longer need it. You can cancel it from Plan and billing in your dashboard and your listing tools stay free.
What that means in practice
If you never take a booking through CampFind and only use it to be found, you pay nothing. If you do take card bookings through CampFind, you pay only on the bookings it sends you.
You are never locked into CampFind's booking system. You can send campers to your own website, phone number or existing booking system. See the FAQ on not needing to book through CampFind for how that works.
Why we changed it
A subscription asks you to pay before CampFind has sent you anything. The commission model means being found is free and CampFind earns only when a paid booking arrives through it.
