For UK sites on Pitchup

Keep Pitchup. Add the channel that keeps 92% with you.

CampFind charges 8% all in on bookings it sends, campers pay nothing on top, your cancellation policy stands, and there is no rate parity. Here is exactly what changes, with the numbers.

The honest part

What you do not get from us yet

  • Pitchup sends far more campers than we do today. Keep it. Add CampFind alongside it and let the cheaper channel grow.
  • Our live-availability booking and two-way calendar sync are still being built (roadmap M4 and M5). Until then, bookings here are instant on open availability, and you should block dates by hand or by iCal.
  • We are new. Twenty verified owners in the UK as of 29 October 2026. We publish those numbers rather than round them up.
Moving across

Three steps, under an hour

1

Claim your listing

Your site is almost certainly already on CampFind from open map data. Search it, claim it, and we verify within two working days.

2

Add pitches and prices

Copy your Pitchup pitch list into the go-live console. Set the same prices: campers already pay less here because there is no camper fee.

3

Import your calendar

Export iCal from Pitchup or your booking system and import it, so booked dates stay blocked while you run both.

Questions owners ask

Straight answers

Do I have to leave Pitchup?+

No. Most owners keep Pitchup for its audience and add CampFind alongside it. There is no exclusivity and no parity rule, so you can run both and move bookings to the cheaper channel as campers find you here.

What does CampFind cost?+

The listing is free. If a camper books and pays by card through CampFind we keep 8% of that booking, card processing included, and pay you the rest. Enquiries, and bookings on your own website or phone, cost nothing. Have your claim verified by 31 March 2027 and your first 10 paid bookings are commission-free.

Who holds the money and who refunds?+

The camper pays through Stripe and the payout lands in your own Stripe account. Your cancellation policy is shown at checkout and applied as written. We never refund against your policy.

Can campers still book on my own website cheaper?+

Yes. There is no rate parity on CampFind. Price your own site however you like.

How do I move across?+

Claim your listing (it is probably already here), get verified within two working days, then add your pitches and prices in the go-live console. Export your calendar from your current system as iCal and import it so dates stay blocked.
